The basic principle of spark plasma sintering furnace: In the sintering process, the powder is first placed in the graphite mold in the furnace body, and then a certain pressure is applied. The material is then heated to high temperatures by a high-energy pulse current generated by a pulsed power supply, and is densified rapidly. At the same time, because the active atoms in the material are excited under the action of the pulse current, the diffusion and chemical reaction between the atoms are promoted, thus performance of the material is improved.
